It is a Sunnah of the beloved Prophet and is non-compulsory worship (PBUH). Nobody can perform Umrah for those who have the means to do so and the physical capacity. But I’m willing to make this trip for a person who has died away. When performing it on someone else’s behalf, start by reciting “Labbayka Umrah.” Can I perform Umrah for another person? I can perform Umrah for someone else, yes.
Today, if a woman is beyond the age of 45, she no longer needs a Mahram to make a quick journey. She is able to undertake Umrah for both herself and another person. If she finds the greatest offer on Umrah Packages, her journey will be simpler.
Let’s explore it further:
Describe Umrah.
Anybody may begin the optional Umrah pilgrimage to Makkah at any time of the year. It is the condensed form of the Hajj.
Making Umrah on behalf of another person
Offering the Umrah on someone else’s behalf is allowed. However, it does have a unique set of rules and limitations. Only in situations where the other individual is not alive, is unwell, or is physically unable to travel. The capacity to pay for all of one’s expenses, such as travel, housing, food, and other outlays, is a sign of financial stability. Physically fit individuals are those who can take care of themselves when travelling and are in good health. If they are not physically or financially able to make niyat in their own name when entering Ihram, someone else performing Umrah on their behalf should do so.
Performing it in honour of the deceased
Making Umrah for a deceased person is permissible. Pilgrims may perform an additional Umrah in honour of a loved one who has passed away even after the Hajj.
When conducting Umrah on behalf of someone else, start by reciting “Labbayka Umrah’an” (name of the person you intend to perform it for). If you are unable to recall their name, simply state, “Here I am on behalf of the one who designated me to conduct Umrah,” or something such. Indeed, the identity of this person is known to Allah Almighty. You are not need to repeat the same steps throughout the Tawaf and Sa’i (going back and forth between Mount Safa and Mount Marwa).

Presentation to Parents
If your parents are deceased, suffer from a chronic illness, are physically incapable of performing Umrah, or suffer from both of these conditions, you may perform Umrah on their behalf. However, if your parents do not have the money to complete Umrah, you cannot do it for them. Invite them to perform it instead (pay for their expenses).
Performing Umrah for a number of people
An Umrah can be completed by a single person. You can only perform it for one person at a time, in other words. If you are performing Umrah for more than one person, you should start the second one from outside the Masjid Al-Haram area. Instead, you will need to perform two Umrah for two different people. The masjid at Taneem is the nearest mosque.
Umrah rituals that can be carried out
In this sacred journey, there are four rituals that can be carried out. These are listed below:
Ihram
A pilgrim must enter the holy state of Ihram before engaging in the worship of Umrah. The pilgrim must attain this state by washing their bodies, dressing appropriately, and making an intention before entering the designated Miqat.
Tawaf
Tawaf, which entails circumambulating the Kaaba or travelling in circles around it counterclockwise, is one of the fundamental rituals of the Umrah. Seven complete laps, beginning and ending at the Hajar-al-Aswad, make up a Tawaf.
Sa’i
Making seven circuits between the two little hills of Safa and Marwa in Masjid al-Haram, which are next to the Kaaba, is one of the fundamental ceremonies of Umrah.
Taqsir or Halq?
Shaving the entire head is referred to as halq, while shaving the head’s hair to at least an inch is referred to as taqsir. The mandatory act that must be performed in order to leave the state of Ihram is halq or taqsir.
One can conduct Umrah for another person, but it is not for those who are skipping the pilgrimage because it would be a waste of time. Even so, they have the means to do it physically and financially. Those who are dead or very weak have the ability to do Umrah on behalf of others. And it serves as a means for people to leave Hell on the Day of Judgment.
A disabled person can now perform Umrah thanks to the accommodations offered by the Saudi government and his or her own travel company, such as Labbaik Hajj Umrah.
